/FLIPS A TABLE.
It’s not a choose them or us situation.
And for that matter why does it matter if you are part of a group or not?
Why did you join two groups is a good question as well.
a) to interact with more people…but you could have interacted with them without joining anyway.
b) to hog the character? … although I doubt anyone would admit this, yet I can’t help but feel that this is probably what other’s may think subconsiously
- Honestly grow up…
If you yourself can’t figure out that it is better for you to be part of only one group then 1000 others with the same character then you probably will never understand it.
This is so that more people can join groups because groups make people feel comfortable, they built a community and relations which is great for new people just starting to role-play.
For me if I wasn’t a part of FFU i wouldn’t be role-playing. The internet is a scary and large place and at least feeling like you belong to a group is better then not.
But if you take a character’s place in more then one group then you are taking away someone else’s chance to feel included. You yourself with not be left out, and most people who are senior role-players or are already part of the community will not be kicked out just for leaving.
So seriously this isn’t a very big problem, it’s not like they wan’t to kick out people or that they do kick out people without telling them.
They merely want to include as many people as possible in the community and being a part of more then one community is limiting the amount of people who would like to interact.
Now you can totally say: But why doesn’t people who want to interact just follow everyone and interact?
Answer: A lot of people are scared of not being accepted, you yourself probably as well are scared to start role-plays the truth is a lot of people are. I say this as someone who is extremely out going yet I still get nervous to interact with people I don’t know. We don’t want people to dislike us, our writing, or our role-plays. It’s hard and so it would just be nice to allow as many people as possible to take up spots so that we could form a community were a lot of people are included. Also if you are part of one community you will probably feel more at ease and it might be easier for you to start role-plays with people. This may not be true for everyone, but at least you have a community, so it would be lovely to let someone get theirs as well.
…..
Sorry for ranting but this is just not something that needs to be getting drama over it.
Make love - not war or what not.
Freya is not pleased with people who takes things way out of proportion.
Also it is clearly stated you can still participate in events, and in the community, and everything else so…seriously why does it matter if you are not on the list or not …by this time it is likely you have already made enough friends/rps that it won’t really matter.
